WHAT WE DO

The Business Launchpad: The Founder's Mentorship. Six months, one-on-one, in person. Two to three sessions a week, two hours each, at a place the student chooses. From idea to first sale, then ongoing coaching continues.

The Digital Skills Program: AI filmmaking, web development, and professional photography, built around IPP pre-vocational goals, with progress shown in a portfolio and monthly summaries.

Every session is one-on-one with Sam. No groups, ever. No cold-calling, no networking pressure, and no performing. Bad days are rescheduled, with no penalty or guilt.

COPY-PASTE LANGUAGE FOR A PERSON-CENTERED PLAN (PCP)

The participant wants to build a small business around a special interest, at their own pace, with one-on-one coaching from a provider who understands autism. They want practical, hands-on support with business planning, brand and website development, digital skills, and finding first customers, without group work, cold-calling, or pressure to fit a traditional job.

COPY-PASTE IPP LANGUAGE

Supported Self-Employment Coaching: individual one-on-one mentorship toward the development and launch of a self-directed micro-business, including business planning, brand development, digital skills, business registration support, client acquisition, and ongoing capability-building.

Continued Supported Self-Employment Coaching: ongoing one-on-one capability-building support for an established self-employed neurodivergent founder, focused on growing independence as a business owner through real-world problem-solving, skill development, and strategic planning.

MEASURABLE OUTCOMES

At the end of the six-month program, the participant will have: a live website; active social accounts with a small library of reusable posts; real photos and content; a business officially registered; a customer agreement template; invoicing and scheduling set up; at least one real sale; and a written plan for what comes next. Progress is tracked against a written roadmap created with the student, and success is measured by how much more the student can handle on their own each month.

REPORTING AND COMMUNICATION

Monthly written progress summaries, with the participant's consent, in plain language that can be dropped into case notes. Same-business-day response by phone, text, or email. Collaborative goal adjustment whenever a student's needs change. Parents and guardians are welcome in planning sessions and receive a monthly progress summary, with consent. After six months, Sam stays, ongoing coaching continues through a renewed IPP goal.

FUNDING AND BILLING

Caliminds Launchpad is not an SDRC vendor. It is an independent provider chosen by families through the Self-Determination Program. For SDP families, Sam sets up a service agreement with the participant's Financial Management Service (FMS) and invoices the FMS after each completed session. SDP families are not billed directly.

This work is commonly funded under 335 Employment Supports, 334 Individual Training and Education, 339 Prevocational Supports, 333 Participant-Directed Goods and Services, 331 Community Integration Supports, and 336 Technology Supports. Note: 340 is the Independent Facilitator's own code, not the provider's code.

A code does not guarantee funding. Funding depends on the person's IPP goal, Person-Centered Plan, Individual Budget, and Spending Plan. Confirm with your IF or service coordinator.
